For the Love of a Hat
This month the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem had an opening of an exhibit of hats. The hats were very imaginative and fun to see. You can see a few if you go to their website . For the opening they encouraged those coming to wear hats. The number and variety of hats was amazing. There was a movie about hats and the way they can make you feel like a different person. I rarely wear a hat except in the winter for warmth. I love trying on hats in stores though and I agree they are transformative. I had a hat that I wore in the 60’s that I wore to the event. You can see it in the picture at the left.
